JANUARY - Fresh Starts & Intentions
Week 1: What does "my best year" mean to me?
Describe what success looks like for you this year. Not what others expect—what YOU truly want.
Week 2: What habit would change my life if I did it consistently?
Think small and specific. What one daily or weekly practice would make the biggest difference?
Week 3: What do I want to let go of from last year?
Mistakes, grudges, limiting beliefs, toxic relationships, or old versions of yourself that no longer serve you.
Week 4: How do I want to feel at the end of this year?
Focus on emotions, not achievements. Proud? Peaceful? Connected? Grateful? Adventurous?
FEBRUARY - Self-Love & Growth
Week 5: What do I need to forgive myself for?
We're all carrying something. What would it feel like to put it down?
Week 6: What's one thing I'm doing well that I don't give myself credit for?
You're better at something than you think. What is it?
Week 7: If I treated myself like I treat my best friend, what would change?
How would you speak to yourself differently? What would you encourage yourself to do?
Week 8: What does self-care actually look like for me (not Instagram's version)?
Real self-care. What genuinely refills your cup?
MARCH - Clarity & Direction
Week 9: What am I avoiding that I need to face?
That conversation, project, decision, or truth. Name it.
Week 10: What would I do if I weren't afraid of failing?
Remove fear from the equation. What becomes possible?
Week 11: What's draining my energy lately?
People, commitments, habits, scrolling, overthinking? Where is your energy going?
Week 12: What lights me up right now?
What makes you lose track of time? What excites you? What are you curious about?
APRIL - Relationships & Connection
Week 13: Who do I need to reach out to?
Someone you've been thinking about. Someone you miss. Someone who needs to hear from you.
Week 14: What relationship in my life needs more attention?
Partner, friend, family member, or even your relationship with yourself.
Week 15: What boundaries do I need to set (or reinforce)?
With your time, energy, emotions, or availability. Where do you need to protect yourself?
Week 16: Who brings out the best version of me?
These are your people. How can you spend more time with them?
MAY - Gratitude & Appreciation
Week 17: What ordinary moment from this week am I grateful for?
The small stuff. The Tuesday afternoon that was just... nice.
Week 18: What challenge am I grateful for because of what it taught me?
Past or present. What hard thing shaped you for the better?
Week 19: What part of my daily routine do I take for granted?
Hot water, coffee, a comfortable bed, a quiet morning? Notice what you have.
Week 20: Who has impacted my life that I've never properly thanked?
Write it here. Or better yet—tell them.
JUNE - Reflection & Adjustment
Week 21: What's working well so far this year?
Mid-year check-in. What progress have you made? What feels good?
Week 22: What needs to change in the second half of the year?
Be honest. What's not serving you? What needs adjustment?
Week 23: What goal did I set that I no longer care about?
Permission to pivot. You're allowed to change your mind.
Week 24: What unexpected good thing has happened this year?
The surprise. The thing you didn't plan but are grateful for.
JULY - Joy & Play
Week 25: When did I last feel pure joy? What was I doing?
Recreate this. Make space for it. Chase this feeling.
Week 26: What did I love doing as a child that I've stopped doing?
Drawing, exploring, building, imagining? Can you bring it back?
Week 27: What would I do this week if I prioritized fun?
Actually prioritize it. Put it in your calendar.
Week 28: What makes me laugh?
Who, what, where? Seek out more of this.
AUGUST - Purpose & Meaning
Week 29: What do I want to be known for?
Not famous—just known by the people who matter to you. What legacy are you building?
Week 30: What problem do I want to help solve in the world?
Big or small. Local or global. Where does your purpose point?
Week 31: What am I doing now that future me will be proud of?
You're building something. What is it?
Week 32: What would I regret not doing?
If this year ended tomorrow, what would you wish you'd tried?
SEPTEMBER - Seasons & Change
Week 33: What season of life am I in right now?
Growth? Rest? Transition? Struggle? Harvest? Name it and honor it.
Week 34: What do I need to release to make room for what's next?
Clutter, commitments, beliefs, stuff. What needs to go?
Week 35: What's one area of my life that needs a "reset"?
Health, home, relationships, work, finances? Where do you need to start fresh?
Week 36: What am I ready for?
The next level. The new chapter. The scary thing. What are you ready to step into?
OCTOBER - Goals & Action
Week 37: What goal can I still achieve before the year ends?
Three months left. What's actually possible if you focus?
Week 38: What's the smallest step I can take toward my biggest goal?
Make it laughably small. Now do it.
Week 39: What do I keep saying I'll do "someday"? Why not now?
Call out your own excuses. What's really stopping you?
Week 40: What does "success" mean to me (in my own words)?
Not society's definition. Not your parents' version. Yours.
NOVEMBER - Challenges & Resilience

Acknowledge it. You survived. You're still here.

HOW TO USE THESE PROMPTS:
Option 1: Sequential
Use one prompt each week in order. Follow the natural rhythm of the year.
Option 2: Intuitive
Scan the list weekly and choose whichever prompt speaks to you most.
Option 3: Theme-Based
Use all January prompts in January, all February prompts in February, etc.
Option 4: Random
Close your eyes, point to the page, use that prompt.
Option 5: Repeated

TIPS FOR WORKING WITH PROMPTS:
Set a timer: 10-15 minutes. Don't overthink it.
Write freely: First draft is for you only. No editing, no judgment.
Go deeper: If a prompt sparks something, keep writing. Follow the thread.
Be honest: The value is in the truth, not in sounding good.
It's okay to skip: If a prompt doesn't resonate, move on. Come back later or don't.
Date your entries: Future you will want to know when you wrote this.
